Having received it, I would probably pay the asking price of $33. Although Pyrex tolerates heat very well, I don't think I'll ever use them for cooking. These are great glass alternatives to plastic for pantry food storage. The lids fit tightly and seem to be airtight. They stack nicely and there's no plastic touching the food.
