Rating: - Max settings is not gonna happen.
I have a mid 2007 macbook with the maximum specs (at the time). I thought this would be a powerhouse machine for this game. I was wrong. The game lags way to much if the settings are above the default.

I suggest the PC version. Besides it is very expensive for macs. The cost is not worth it.

DeathStar, star destroyers, fighting in space , fight on land; what more could you want. YOU are the Supreme Commander to take over the Universe.

Rating: - Empire at war is awesome
Several times I just couldn't stop playing. The strategy involved in this game is superb. The galactic conquest part is the utmost best. An example would be if I say lose Corellia I can hit the Empire wit a force the have never seen before. The game is just so good i'm typing this to readers to BUY THIS GAME NOW!

This is by far the funnest RTS I have ever played, but it is far too easy. If you're looking for a hardcore challenge, this probably isn't the game for you.

Great game overall. I played Star Wars Rebellion (the game which this apparently was based off of) back in the '90s, and really enjoyed it. When I saw the trailer for Empire at War, it was like an updated version of Rebellion.
