He aquí la música que el salsero boricua grabó para acompañar su actuación en la película biográfica sobre el cantante puertorriqueño Héctor Lavoe. Lo interesante es que Marc Anthony hizo mucho más que grabar las canciones de Lavoe con su estilo propio. El esposo de Jennifer López frasea exactamente igual que el legendario salsero en este álbum, lo cual es todo un logro, ya que fue ese fraseo tan especial el que hizo a Lavoe un ídolo. Rating: - Fake.
I just don't see why people think this is such a great album. Marc Anthony doesn't sing as well as Hector Lavoe and it sounds like he is imitating him and at least I can tell, he just is not believable and if Marc Anthony is going to sing Hectors songs he should just interpret the music it in his own way. No one sings like Hector so if you like his music buy his albums you can't go wrong!

I loved the movie and the music so I bought this CD. I am extremely happy with my purchase. The music is phenomenal. Marc Anthony does Hector Lavoe some serious props here. Bravo Marc Anthony....the only disappointment here is the last trac, Jennifer Lopez's "Toma de Mi." IT TRULY SUCKS! The song stinks and her vocals sound like someone is strangulating a Sea gull. This should of never been included in this CD....Other than JLo's lousy singing and song, the CD is great. Buy it and when you get to ... Read More

Marc Anthony is a great singer. I wish he had more tracks on this CD. I didn't understand why J-Lo had to be on the CD. She was not featured in the movie. She was not necessary. I would have rather heard another track from Marc.
