 Rating:  - Not for the Casual Gamer. I have both the Prophesies and Nightfall campaigns and those are both great, especially Nightfall, but by the time you get about half way through the Eye of the North it gets extremely hard and the missions/quests are insanely long. It takes about 2 to 3 hours to get through a dungeon. If and when you get to the boss at the end, you have to use some special method of defeating them, which you can't figure out unless you get to this boss at least once and be sure to do research online to find out ... Read More Rating: - A good expansion pack, but a little shortThis is the only true expansion pack of the Guild Wars series, in that it doesn't stand alone -- you need to have at least one of the three "campaigns" (Prophecies, Factions, or Nightfall) in order to play it. Eye of the North adds a large map area filled with high-level monsters, challenging dungeons, and a number of quests. Read More Rating: - GWEN Is about as good as the othersI own all of the Guild Wars collection at the moment and have to say, they are all pretty good. However, if I had to pick a least favorite GWEN would be it. GWEN is technically an "expansion" upon prophecies since it incorporates unused parts of the original map. However it has a very separate storyline that integrates very well with the Prophecies storyline that will make you say "oh so that's what happened to those characters". This game, although graphically decent looking, is impossibly hard that it always left me cursing and frustrated. Playing a game is supposed to have fun but this one leaves me angry. I wished the developer could have put an option like any other normal RPG games where players could choose "Easy", "Normal" or "Expert" mode. Rating:  - AWESOME gameExpansion pack sells for under 20 dollars here. Sells for 49.00 on guildwars website. Definitely purchase from this seller. One of the best games I've ever played.
