They kept my plants so consistently damp that after 10 days I had to remove them because mold was growing on the top of the soil around the spout. Rating:  - Work well for tall indoor plantsI have had aqua globes for about 5 months now, and they've worked well with my tall indoor plants. The globe stems are too tall to use in smaller plants, however - so unfortuantely I couldn't use them for my plants on top of cabinets in kitchen which is why I bought them in the first place. (For those I'm now using plant nanny globes....slightly more expensive but the stem sits flush with the dirt in the plat, so only the actual globe is above dirt - works MUCH better for smaller plants).
