It started with the desire to get away from plastic and the prices that I found in stores just didn't compare. Everything arrived in tact and we use the containers for everything. I'll probably purchase another set in the near future for myself as well as others in my family. Rating: - Better than TupperwareI really don't like the plastic dishes for food storage. These are clear (as glass!), keep the food fresh and tasting better and can go right from the refrigerator to the microwave without fear of polyphenols. Rating: - Excellent bowl set!This set of bowls has exceeded my expectations! Lids fit tight, and the selection of bowl sizes is wonderful for my needs. Nice job, Pyrex!
