I read many many many good review on KIS, everywhere. In 2006 I starting dating and my choice felt on KIS (kaspersky internet security) fire wall and all.
I was really sold to them. Here is my experience.

The honeymoon. After a while, my computer seemed infected... slowind down, freezing mouse. It's impossible that all those peoples lies. So I looked online for sign of infection. Ya there was infections. I scan over nite, I scan again. Maybe it's not a virus, maybe a spywhere, they where not mentionning spywhere anywhre. Later on I learnd why. So I ended trying to get in touch with the support, seemed hard. Try to fin the tech support phone number in 30 sec for USA, you will be lucky to get it.
I ended up in the forum, thinking everything was to going on there. There was helping people, for a while. But I ended up with that moderator really grumpy. Some people where asking to see personal information from my computer get system info. I was scared, I did it. They said do it. Ok it work yé! Later on, bug again. again.

Basically since 2006 I endure having no or just little answer to my question in their forum. And a partial fix on my problems on my pc. Before I had Norton, and I discovered how having a computer could be a nightmage since I installed KIS. I reached the tech support sometime. There was one of those guy, you ask yourselve why dose he work there. I ended having my computer down for 3-5 days. I had to reinstall over and over the software, scanning on safe mode. Really a pain.
Really hard to install, cause you have to uninstall all other antispywhere and antivirus you installed before. Sometime there was a new version, they where telling people only on the forum or by support. That update button mean nothing.

I am just recovering from the new kis 2011. The vulnerability check is powerfull, but it's not based on "user friendly". The only good review you have about kis is people that are geeks, they know how to tweek it their way. But 95% of people will have problems trying to do so.

Many time with the technical support they asked me to install other third party anity-spywhere to find what kis din't find. Come on, that is ridiculous. Even on their website they say they can't beat the hackers.

About vulnerability, I check that often. The new 2011 is crazy. It tell message like: you don't need to worry about that. Also the big green light is there: "YOUR COMPUTER IS PROTECTED" from what. People get in from those vulnerabilitty that are really really hard to removed. And you will have hard time to get support with those.
This week I have 11 vulnerabilitys. 2 was about google chrome: GOOGLE c. is not up to dage. Ok I check google chrome about, everything is up to date. KIS still say no no no it is not. Ok get the support or forum, cause support can take 3 day's to aswer. By the way you have to be aware that hacker are checking KIS, cause they can go on their vulnerability website and see what is the weekness and attack those who have kis. So back to google chrome. I follow what they say: uninstall it and reinstall it. Did it, guess what, warning is still there. But no problem I have a big green light: YOUR COMPUTER IS PROTECTED and a warning don't worry about vulnerability. By the way there is a link, I click for more detais. OK I click on it... 404 website error. I learned later it's their problem. Yep, non it's mine I can't get informaitons I need to fix it. The green light is still there, and don't worry be happy. But my computer keep restarting and the mouse freeze. It's like that since 2006, there is alway's something to do, but I need to get in touch with support.

I scanend all nite, he found 2 thing. What that software is scanning in the background to protect me from that all week long.

When you see the red K pumping it's because KIS is taking control of your computer, he scan we don't know what, but he is taking everything you have in your PC. You are slave to KIS, you will learn that.

I just have enough, I just want my computer to work.

This morning I erased it, installed Bit defender. Guess what, the #1 antivirus kaspersky forget 14 treats in my computer. Bit defender scanned them before installing itselve, Kis never do that.

Now my computer is runing normally for the last 6h. I just can't believe it. And he also found vulnerabilitys, ok, I was scared. But he download and installed the udate itselve.

You will say one day Scap-persky too. Good luck.

Rating: - This is a must have!
This is the most amazing Anti-Virus/Internet Security program I have used. It was recommended to me by my computer tech. It is worth every penny spent. I have used many other brands of Anti-virus and this one stands out from the crowd.

It constantly monitors my computer. Plus monitors every web page, download and email that arrives or is visited. But it does not bog my computer down like other Anti-Virus programs do.

There are also features that help your computer stay cleaner and run faster. I have used those as well and have seen a very noticeable difference in how smoother my computer runs. The other added bonus is the fact that I can run all my instant messaging programs through the Anti-Virus program. It constantly monitors those as well.
